Weekly Stand for Democracy

For months now, members of the Portland Democrats have joined with CT River Huddle and TACT (Take Action CT) in a weekly stand for democracy and human rights. This collaboration highlights something we’re genuinely proud of: Portland Democrats show up. Our members work hard on boards, commissions, and volunteer committees and they use their voices to speak out when our federal government falls short. Caring about our town and caring about our country aren’t mutually exclusive — in Portland, we do both every day.

You can join them every Thursday morning from 7:30-8:30AM on Main St. near the Arrigoni Bridge.
