2025 Municipal Election Results

Thank you, Portland!

We’re so grateful to everyone who came out to vote in yesterday’s election. The results were a clear message that Portland values steady, welcoming, and thoughtful leadership focused on what matters most — our community.

Congratulations to our newly elected Democrats:

Board of Selectmen: Andrea Alfano, John Dillon, Dave Kuzminski, and Jim Tripp
Board of Education: Erin Livensparger and Kim Nagy-Maruschock
Board of Assessment Appeals: Kathy Richards and Cindy Tyler
Zoning Board of Appeals: Chris Darby (effective 2025) and Lauren DeCaprio (effective 2026)

A huge shoutout to Jody Grosso and Bethanne Vergean, two of the top vote-getters for the Board of Education. Because of Town Charter limits on single-party representation, they can’t be seated this term — but we’re so proud of them for stepping up as first-time candidates! Their commitment to Portland and our schools is unwavering, and we know they’ll continue to make a difference in our community.

To everyone who supported, volunteered, and voted — thank you. Portland showed up for community, collaboration, and progress. Together, we’ll keep moving our town forward.
